In collaboration with The Works, Inc., and St. Andrew AME Church, the Shelby County Health Department is organizing a “Community Care Fair” in South Memphis on Saturday. The event will take place at Renaissance Pocket Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature free food, music, immunizations, supplies, and information on various health department programs and resources.

The fair will provide attendees with access to a range of services including assistance from the CHANT program, information on the CSFP senior supplementary nutrition program, free child safety seats (while supplies last), free confidential HIV testing, and enrollment in PrEP or PEP medications for HIV prevention. Additionally, there will be free back-to-school vaccinations, MMR vaccinations, and COVID-19 vaccines available.
