Tokyo’s Haneda Airport has been named the cleanest airport in the world according to the Skytrax World Airport Awards. In recognition of its outstanding cleanliness, Haneda was praised for its floors, seating, public areas, and restrooms. With cleanliness becoming a top priority for travelers in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, airports that maintain the highest standards are highly regarded.

In addition to being named the cleanest airport in the world, Haneda was also ranked fourth best overall by Skytrax. The top 10 cleanest airports were dominated by Asia, with nine of them in the region. Japan had four airports on the list, including Centrair Nagoya, Tokyo Narita, and Kansai. The top spots were rounded out by Seoul Incheon, Singapore Changi, Doha Hamad, Hong Kong, Taiwan Taoyuan
