Jameer Nelson and Paul Westhead, both former standouts at Saint Joseph’s, have been selected as part of the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024. The announcement was made by organization officials on Tuesday, highlighting their remarkable contributions to the world of sports.

Joining them in this prestigious list of inductees are George Benton, Rod Brind’Amour, Angelo Cataldi, Joan (Moore) Gnat, Brendan Hansen, Ryan Howard, Lurline Jones, Cheryl Reeve, Eddie Stanky, Andy Talley, A. W. Tillinghast, Chase Utley, and Alice Putnam Willetts.

The induction ceremony for the 2024 Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame will take place on Thursday, November 7 at the Live! Casino & Hotel Event Center in South Philadelphia.
