Google Workspace, which includes 11 applications such as Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and more, has been used by over 3 billion users worldwide. During Google’s annual meeting in Las Vegas, the company announced new digital innovations that include the introduction of Vids, an audiovisual editor similar to Open AI’s Sora tool. The company also revealed that Gemini, an artificial intelligence tool aimed at meeting user demands, will be integrated into Google Workspace. This renewal of Google Workspace includes meeting and messaging add-ons, security plugins, and the Google Vids application for creating videos.

Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian introduced Gemini as a way to provide users with more advanced AI capabilities to meet their needs. The new innovations are in response to the Open AI movement and respond to the need for AI-powered video creation tools. In addition to Vids, another AI model called Image 2 will be introduced for Gemini 1.5 Pro users. This allows developers to create videos from text messages and generate high-quality videos at an enterprise scale.
