Google Photos is a popular app among users for storing and sharing their memories. With free cloud storage of up to 15 gigabytes or paid options for up to 2 terabytes, users can easily manage their images, photos, and videos. However, some users have found the default organization of content in the app to be visually cluttered. To address this issue, Google is introducing a new feature called “hide clutter” in an upcoming update.

The update aims to provide a more organized environment by automatically filtering out non-essential content and displaying only images captured by the device’s camera on the main tab. This will create a streamlined experience for users, reducing visual noise and improving overall user experience. The hidden files will still be accessible in other tabs or through search but will be removed from the main view to make it cleaner and more manageable.

In addition to the “hide clutter” feature, Google Photos is also undergoing a complete renovation of the ‘Memories’ tab. The new design aims to enhance user interactions with their stored photographs, making it more modern and attractive. These updates along with existing features like Photo Stacks provide users with a range of tools to effectively manage their photo galleries. Overall, these changes demonstrate Google’s commitment to providing its users with a seamless digital experience through its various apps and services.
