In a recent interview with PEOPLE at the Big Screen Achievement Awards at CinemaCon 2024, actress Geena Davis admitted that she is not very tech-savvy. However, she expressed her gratitude for her children – Alizeh and twin sons Kaiis and Kian – who keep her up to date with the latest technology trends. Davis mentioned that her kids are generous with their time and passionate about social issues.

Davis had her children in her 40s – Alizeh in 2002 and Kaiis and Kian in 2004. She has mentioned in past interviews that she waited to become a mother and is thankful that she did. She believed that waiting allowed her to evolve as a person and build her self-esteem before becoming a parent. Her children inspired her activism in Hollywood, leading her to establish the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media in 2004. The Institute focuses on gender representation in media and aims to create a more balanced world for children through diverse characters on screen.

Despite Davis’ successful acting career, none of her children have followed in her footsteps. However, in the recent interview, she revealed that two of her kids are now interested in pursuing acting. She joked about her initial surprise at their decision but embraced it nonetheless.
