In Munich, there will be high activity today due to the upcoming EM-Game between Romania and Netherlands at 6 pm. Fans of the Netherlands will gather in the Olympic Park at 11 am for a fan march, which is expected to cause disruptions in traffic. The fan march will proceed from the Olympic Ice Stadium through Lerchenauer Strasse, Schleißheimer Straße, Ackermannbogen and Spiridon-Louis-Ring back to the Olympic Park. It’s estimated that this march will last until around 1 pm and police and rescue workers will be on site to assist with crowd control.

The Munich Transport Company (MVG) is also preparing for an influx of football fans heading to the Olympic Park and Fröttmaninger Arena for the large public viewing event. Extra trains will be in operation, but delays are still possible due to increased passenger numbers.

After the fan march, there will be joint stage programs and celebrations in the Fan Zone from 1 pm onwards. Bus shuttles will also be available for ticket holders to the arena from 2:30 pm, relieving some pressure on public transport. Many Dutch fans are expected to celebrate in the city center throughout the day, creating a festive atmosphere at locations like Marienplatz and Viktualienmarkt. Be prepared for higher traffic and delays in these areas due to football festivities.
