Schoonover, a Steubenville High School senior, has recently signed to continue his academic and track and field pursuits at Mount Union University. His commitment to the university marks the next step in his journey towards success in both academics and athletics.

Surrounded by his coaches, family, and school administrators, Schoonover’s signing ceremony was a special moment for him and those who have supported him throughout his high school career. The event symbolized the culmination of his hard work and dedication in both areas of his life.

As he prepares to transition to college life, Schoonover carries with him the lessons and experiences gained at Steubenville High School. His signing to Mount Union University is not just a celebration of his achievements but also a testament to his potential for continued success in the future.

With the support of Emily Pearson, distance running coach Elizabeth Atkins, head track and field coach Andy Kidwell, Ted Gorman, Assistant Principal Aaron Newman, Kim Taylor – Schoonover’s mother – he is embarking on a new chapter in his life that will undoubtedly lead him towards greatness.
