Cornerback Cooper DeJean’s pre-draft schedule was disrupted by a fractured fibula he sustained during the 2023 season, forcing him to delay his Pro Day workout until after other players had already visited teams and attended medical rechecks in Indianapolis. However, despite this setback, DeJean managed to meet with four teams during his limited availability. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, DeJean visited the Steelers, Seahawks, Bills, and Eagles.

During his Pro Day workout, DeJean ran an impressive 4.42 40 and performed well in other athletic tests. This performance helped alleviate concerns about his health going into the draft. While there may be some uncertainty about where he will play on the field, teams in need of secondary help are likely to focus on DeJean’s potential and not worry too much about his exact position.

Overall, despite the challenges DeJean faced in his pre-draft preparations, his athleticism and skills have positioned him as a promising prospect for teams in search of defensive talent.
