In Detroit, excitement is in the air as the NFL draft and a successful Lions season have already left fans buzzing. But there’s even more to look forward to with the upcoming Detroit Sports Spectacular, which will take place in Novi from June 7-9.
The show promises to be a one-stop shop for sports enthusiasts, featuring vendors specializing in cards, collectibles, framing, autographs, photography opportunities, and much more. Attendees can expect to see auction houses, grading card companies, and authenticators among the vendors.
One of the highlights of the event will be celebrity athlete guests. Renowned athletes, including local stars, will make appearances at the show. Sports fans will have the opportunity to meet their favorite athletes, get autographs and take photos with them – though there may be a cost associated with these experiences.
On Day One of the event, attendees can catch an appearance by former Detroit Red Wings player Vladimir Konstantinov. On Day Two it’s former Detroit Lions running back Barry Sanders and on Day Three baseball and hockey veterans – former MLB outfielder Andre Dawson and former MLB pitcher Goose Gossage will grace us with their presence.
Tickets for this highly anticipated event are available for pre-sale online starting April 29th. General admission tickets will cost $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 10 and under and free for children ages five and under while weekend passes are priced at $40.
