Grace Dobrzynski of Siena is the top scorer in Division I women’s lacrosse this season, showcasing her skills as a junior attacker for the Saints. She has set records for MAAC single-season assists and holds the title for most assists in Siena program history. Dobrzynski’s journey towards becoming a doctor has been seamless, as she has embraced her role as a distributor and evolved from her days as a scorer while playing with her older brothers who also played lacrosse at the college level.
Growing up in Rhode Island, Dobrzynski honed her skills by practicing with her brothers and challenging herself by shooting on male goalies. This upbringing instilled a strong work ethic and a drive for excellence in her. When it came time to choose a college, Dobrzynski was drawn to Siena and the Albany Medical College Science and Humanities program in the Capital Region. With a family background in medicine, Dobrzynski found a way to pursue both her athletic and academic passions.
