Canadian national team defender Erin Ambrose remarked on how ubiquitous Sarah Nurse has become in the hockey world. Sarah Nurse was driving home from a PWHL Toronto practice when she saw a billboard featuring her face with the Adidas slogan “You got this.” The billboard gave her a boost of confidence as she reflected on her past major partnerships, including collaborations with Tim Hortons and Mattel to create a Barbie doll in her likeness.

In the two years since her breakout performance at the Beijing Olympics, where she set a record for points in a single tournament (18), Nurse has become one of the biggest faces in women’s hockey. She made history by becoming the first woman to appear on the cover of an EA Sports hockey video game with NHL 23 and played a key role in the launch of the Professional Women’s Hockey League by helping negotiate a groundbreaking CBA.

Nurse’s star power has only continued to rise, as she recently starred in a Canadian Super Bowl commercial and was a busy presence at NHL All-Star Weekend, attending multiple league and partner events. Despite her success and numerous accomplishments, Nurse remains focused on her future goals and aspirations. She is determined to continue pushing boundaries and making an impact both on and off the ice.
