Zay Jones is set to visit the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday as part of his free agent tour. The 29-year-old wide receiver has already scheduled visits with the Titans, Cardinals, and Cowboys. Last season, Jones spent two years with the Jaguars following stints with the Raiders and Bills. Despite being limited by injuries to just 34 catches for 321 yards in 2023, Jones had a standout performance in 2022 with 82 catches for 823 yards.

The Chiefs are looking to bolster their wide receiver position following legal troubles faced by last year’s top receiver, Rashee Rice. In the offseason, they signed Hollywood Brown and drafted Xavier Worthy in the first round. With these additions, Jones could potentially further strengthen the receiving corps for the upcoming season.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Jones has scheduled a visit with the Chiefs on Thursday. This will be his fourth stop on his free agency tour this week after visiting the Titans, Cardinals, and Cowboys. After becoming a free agent following his release from the Jaguars to make room for Brian Thomas in the first round of the draft, Jones could be a valuable addition to any team’s passing game due to his experience and talent as a wide receiver.
