In a shocking turn of events, Sarah Becker, a former reality TV star who appeared on MTV’s “The Real World,” has passed away at the age of 52. An MTV spokesperson confirmed the news and expressed their condolences to Becker’s family and friends during this difficult time.

According to reports from Becker’s family, she took her own life at her home in Illinois last week. She had recently relocated to the area to care for her loved ones and had plans to return to California in the future. It is said that Becker was struggling with her mental health and was also recovering from a skateboarding accident.

Becker joined the cast of “The Real World” in 1996 for its fifth season, which was set in Miami, Florida. At the time, she was working as an editor at Wildstorm Comics in La Jolla, California. In a promotional video for the show, Becker described herself as “a 19-year-old trapped in a 25-year-old’s body.”

During her time on the show, Becker lived with roommates Joe Patane, Dan Renzi, Melissa Padrón, Mike Lambert, Cynthia Roberts, and Flora Alekseyeva. Alekseyeva shared her sorrow over Becker’s death on Instagram, praising her kindness and selflessness.
