Lisa McGiveron, a former employee of the Cincinnati Health Department, has been fired and is facing charges related to theft in office and forgery, according to court documents and officials from the health department. In February, McGiveron was charged with theft in office, tampering with records, and forgery. The spokesperson for the department stated that she was terminated for misconduct, including dishonesty and neglect of duty. However, no specific details about the actions that led to her termination were provided.

The health department spokesperson emphasized that McGiveron’s behavior does not reflect the values of the other employees who remain dedicated to serving the community. On March 1, McGiveron was arrested and entered a plea of not guilty on March 5. She was released on bond the same day.
