Florida State’s baseball team has had an incredible turnaround this season, with a program-best 26-win improvement resulting in 49 wins, their best performance since 2012. In their recent game against North Carolina Tar Heels, the Seminoles took an early lead and secured a victory, thanks to stellar performances from pitchers Andrew Armstrong and Connor Hults and a strong offensive effort.

The next challenge for the Seminoles is facing off against Tennessee Volunteers in the College World Series. Although they lost to the Volunteers in their previous meeting due to a late-inning collapse, the Seminoles have shown resilience and are ready to take on the unbeaten Volunteers once again.

The upcoming game will feature RHP John Abraham for FSU and LHP Zander Sechrist for Tennessee as the starting pitchers. The matchup is set for Wednesday, June 19th, with a spread favoring Tennessee by just 1.5 runs and an over/under of 13.

Tennessee’s key players include 2B Christian Moore, 1B Blake Burke, and RF Kavares Tears, who have all produced impressive batting statistics throughout the season. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN, with radio coverage available on the Seminoles Radio Network. If Florida State can defeat Tennessee twice in this critical moment in their College World Series journey, they will advance to the championship series.
