A fire broke out at the NAPA Auto Parts shop located at 1195 Routes 5 and 20 in Hanover on Saturday morning, prompting a response from numerous fire crews. The blaze was contained to the back of the building and was reported around 9:30 am. Visible damage could be seen on the exterior of the structure.

The fire was successfully contained and no injuries were reported. Among the agencies that responded to the scene were Dunkirk, Sunset Bay, Silver Creek, Forestville, Chautauqua County Emergency Services, Hanover Center, and local law enforcement.
