The US Greco-Roman team in Turkey is led by three US Olympic Team Trials champions and US Army World Class Athlete Program teammates – Dalton Roberts at 60 kg, Ellis Coleman at 67 kg, and Kamal Bey at 77 kg. Each athlete brings unique strengths to the competition, with Roberts being a two-time US World Team member and Pan American champion, Coleman a four-time US World Team member, and Bey a world champion.

Roberts will face Viktor Petryk of Ukraine in the first round and may have a rematch with No. 1 seed Gevorg Gharibyan of Armenia in the quarterfinals. Coleman will take on Aliaksandr Liavonchyk of Belarus in his first match and might meet No. 4 seed Abu Amaev of Bulgaria in the quarterfinals before potentially facing No. 1 seed Krisztian Vancza of Hungary in the semifinals.
