FedEx recently awarded US$230,000 in grants to 10 US-based small businesses as part of their Small Business Grants Program. The program aims to support these businesses and help them grow and succeed.

Bombi, a baby stroller supplier, won the grand prize of US$50,000. Kelsey Nolan, co-founder and chief marketing officer of Bombi, expressed her gratitude for the award and emphasized the validation of their commitment to sustainability and innovation. She highlighted how the grant will allow them to continue offering high-quality products while protecting the environment.

The other nine companies received US$20,000 each in addition to various benefits such as a US$500 print credit at FedEx Office, a US$300 voucher from My FedEx Rewards, access to services like FedEx Premier Customer Care and the FedEx Packaging Lab. They were also invited to attend a Small Business Strategic Insights Forum and featured on the FedEx Small Business Center.

Aimee DiCicco, senior vice president of customer engagement marketing and retail channel solutions at FedEx reiterated their commitment to empowering small and medium-sized business owners with resources for success. She expressed excitement about showcasing these entrepreneurs and helping their businesses thrive and grow.

Since its inception 12 years ago, the program has received nearly 80,000 applications in the USA. FedEx has awarded over US$2 million in grant money and printing credits combined demonstrating their dedication to supporting small businesses.
