U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), the Ranking Member of the Senate Small Business Committee, recently recognized Raymon Enterprises of Marshall County as her Small Business of the Week. Throughout this Congress, Ranking Member Ernst plans to highlight a small business in each of Iowa’s 99 counties.

Raymon Enterprises is a family-run business that places great emphasis on caring for their employees, customers, and community. They have been in operation for over five decades and have grown to serve customers across the country and in Canada. The company is known for its quality products and exceptional service.

Founded in 1973 as Donco Industries by Don Martin, Raymon Enterprises was later purchased by Larry Raymon and his wife Joynell in 1985. In 2006, the company was officially renamed Raymon Enterprises. Today, Larry’s son Chad is the president of the company, which employs over 80 people and operates out of a 65,000-square-foot facility in Albion.

In addition to running Raymon Enterprises, Larry was also committed to giving back to his community. He served in the Army National Guard and founded the Marshalltown Economic Development Impact Committee. Sadly, Larry passed away in February 2024, leaving behind a legacy for his family and community. Raymon Enterprises will celebrate its 40th anniversary in Albion in August 2024
