Armon Harried, a standout men’s basketball forward, has been named a SUNY Scholar-Athlete for his impressive academic and athletic achievements. This recognition was announced by the higher education system on April 19, making him one of two Bearcats to receive this prestigious award during the winter season.

Throughout his collegiate career at Binghamton University, Harried established himself as a top player in the America East (AE) conference. He was a repeat selection to the AE All-Defensive Team for his impressive performance on the court, averaging 13.4 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Harried finished his career with an impressive total of 1,296 points and 623 rebounds after playing his final two seasons at BU. In addition to his impressive statistics on the court, he also maintained an impressive GPA of 3.82 as a graduate student studying human rights.

Harried’s achievements were not limited to just basketball. He was also recognized for his academic success, earning America East All-Academic Team honors throughout his career at BU. With these accolades under his belt, Harried exemplifies the qualities of a student-athlete who excels both on and off the court. His dedication to both academics and athletics has earned him recognition as one of SUNY’s top scholars in men’s basketball for winter season.
