In Columbia, twelve local business owners will be featured at the 10th annual ShowMe Leadercast event on Wednesday. The event will take place in the Woodcrest auditorium from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Four business speakers and leadership experts will join the leaders on stage for a simulcast of the event.

Some of the nationally-renowned speakers who will be sharing their insights include Rory Vaden, David Horsager, Nicole Walters, and Ari Weinzweig. They will cover topics such as goal setting, strong leadership habits, building trust within a team, and visioning.

According to Fred Parry, organizer of the event, attendees can expect audience engagement, wonderful door prizes, and games at this year’s ShowMe Leadercast. He believes that it is a great opportunity to energize and rejuvenate key members of staff and build a stronger sense of collaboration in teams.

In addition to local business owners, several community leaders such as Columbia Police Chief Jill Schlude, Boone County Sheriff Dwayne Carey, and UM Board of Curators Chair Robin Wenneker will also be participating in the event. A full panel of leaders including Dwayne Carey, Senate Majority Leader Caleb Rowden, President of William Woods University Jeremy Moreland among others will also be present in Panel 1 while Ed Scavone leads Panel 2 with Jill Schlude; Todd Culley leading Panel 3 featuring Robin Wenneker alongside Pete Gloggner
