On Saturday, April 27, students from all four Oakdale Elementary schools will come together to participate in the 26th Annual Elementary Science Olympiad at Walnut School in Turlock. The event, sponsored by the Stanislaus County Office of Education (SCOE) and the Education Foundation of Stanislaus County, promises to be a fun and educational day for all involved.

Teams from Cloverland, Fair Oaks, Magnolia, and Sierra View have been working hard to prepare for the competition. Approximately 300 elementary school children from across the county will take part in the event. The challenges include Bridge Building, Can Race, Catapult, Circuit Wizardry, Crime Busters, Deep Blue Sea, Knock, Knock Who’s There?, Leaf & Tree, Mystery Architecture, No Bones About It
