During the upcoming Salone del Mobile event, Electrolux Group is launching its new Electrolux EcoLine Hub. This innovative space aims to promote environmental awareness and sustainable living, and will be open to the public from April 16th to 21st at the Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano (BAM) in Portanuova, Italy.
The Electrolux EcoLine Hub is designed to inspire visitors to make a difference for the planet through everyday actions and conscious choices within their homes. With a captivating design that blends into the surrounding environment, this space serves as a catalyst for change, inviting people to explore innovative solutions for a more environmentally friendly lifestyle.
Inside the hub, visitors will find an immersive and educational experience that showcases a range of Electrolux products that contribute to sustainability. The Taste area features appliances like the 800 Steamboost steam oven and the 700 GreenZone fridge-freezer, which are designed to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. The Care area focuses on clothing care, highlighting innovations in washing machines and dryers that optimize water and energy consumption.
To further spread the culture of sustainability, the Electrolux EcoLine Hub will feature screens showing “Materia Viva,” a docufilm exploring circular economy and recycling to inspire daily actions in favor of the environment. Additionally, there will be a collection point for small electronic waste (WEEE) in collaboration with Erion WEEE, which encourages proper disposal of electronics while reducing e-waste pollution.
