Porter Robinson, a renowned DJ, record producer, and singer-songwriter, is set to bring an electrifying night of EDM to Nashville as part of his upcoming tour. The event will take place at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium on Sept. 10. Robinson’s “SMILE! World Tour” will showcase tracks from his highly anticipated album “SMILE! :D,” set to release on July 26. Some of Robinson’s popular songs include “Everything Goes On,” “Shelter,” and “Goodbye To A World.” Additionally, on April 23, he released the single “Knock Yourself Out XD” from his upcoming album.
Robinson’s global tour will bring him to various continents, including North America, Australia, Asia, Europe, and South America. His performance in Nashville comes at a time when the EDM scene in the city is attracting significant attention. Recently, legendary athlete Shaquille O’Neal, also known as DJ Diesel, graced the stage with a high-energy EDM set at the Skydeck on Broadway. Moreover, the opening of Night We Met, one of Nashville’s premier EDM dance clubs in the Gulch, signifies a growing interest in EDM music in a city typically associated with country and rock genres.
