Quarterback Keelon Russell from Duncanville High School in Duncanville, TX, has been selected to play in the 2025 All-American Bowl. This prestigious event will be the twenty-fifth edition of the bowl game and will showcase the nation’s top 100 high school football players in an East vs. West matchup on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The game will be broadcast live on NBC at 1:00 PM ET.

Russell was chosen to play in the All-American Bowl by the Selection Committee, which includes representatives from the All-American Bowl, 247Sports, and NexGen founder Brent Williams. Players selected for this honor are eligible for various awards such as the Player of the Year Award, Lineman of the Year Award, Defensive Player of the Year Award, Man of the Year Award, and MVP Award.

Only 100 high school football players are invited to participate in the All-American Bowl each year, making it a significant achievement for Russell. The 2025 All-American Bowl will be held at the Alamodome and will be televised nationally on NBC and Peacock.
