Evansville sophomore guard Kynidi Mason Striverson has been recognized for her outstanding performance both on the court and in the classroom. After a successful 2023-24 women’s basketball season, Mason Striverson was named an Academic All-District selection by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.

On the court, Mason Striverson was the Aces’ second-leading scorer, averaging 11.5 points per game, and led the team in assists with 122 over 32 games. To add to her impressive achievements, she is one of only three Evansville players who played in all 32 games and is the sole player to have started in every single game.

Off the court, Mason Striverson maintains an impressive 3.663 cumulative GPA as a business management major. She has been recognized on the University of Evansville’s Dean’s List twice during her time at the university. To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a 3.50 cumulative GPA and have participated in 90% of the team’s games or started in 66% of the team’s games.

Mason Striverson’s achievements both on and off the court demonstrate her dedication to excelling in all aspects of her collegiate career. Her commitment to success has earned her numerous accolades and recognition from her peers and coaches alike.
