In his analysis of Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, Yahoo Sports fantasy analyst Matt Harmon offers both aggressive and cautious comparisons for the young receiver based on his playing style and potential.

On the aggressive side, Harmon sees Harrison as a hybrid of Julio Jones and AJ Green. Like these two star receivers, Harrison is a big perimeter X receiver who excels after the catch and in jump ball situations. He is also a refined route runner, showcasing similar traits to Jones and Green that make him a high-tier YAC threat and a reliable target downfield.

However, Harmon also provides a cautious comparison for Harrison, likening him to Mike Evans. While Evans is known for his route running and ability to high-point the ball, he may not have the same level of separation or YAC ability as Jones or Green. Despite this, being likened to Evans is still a positive comparison for Harrison, as he possesses the skills needed to succeed as a big-bodied X receiver in the NFL.

Overall, whether it’s through an aggressive or cautious comparison, Harmon believes that Marvin Harrison Jr. has the potential to be a superstar number-one X receiver in the NFL with his combination of size, route running, and playmaking ability.
