Dover Health, a St. Louis-based company, has recently expanded its operations to the Chicago region with the acquisition of Centered Care Hospice and Palliative Care and Cornerstone Home Health. This expansion allows Dover Health to serve nine counties in Illinois, in addition to their existing presence in five counties in Missouri. Through this acquisition, Dover Health aims to increase its scale and provide enhanced benefits and technology to clinical staff and patients.

President of Dover Health, Steven Burghart, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing caregivers with the time and resources needed to engage with each patient on a personal level. Their mission is to help seniors and their families thrive through personalized, holistic health and wellness services.

Dover Health is a subsidiary of The Dover Companies, which also operates various senior living and health care services. Their home health and hospice business was launched earlier this year, offering a wide range of services to support quality of life for terminally ill patients and promote aging in place. The parent company’s portfolio includes Cedarhurst Senior Living, Medicine Express Long-Term Care Pharmacy, Dover Development, Dover Capital, and Brahms Construction.

With a focus on Midwestern markets, Dover Health is strategically expanding its reach to provide patient-centric care. Brandy Pratt, vice president of hospice for Dover Health, highlighted the company’s dedication to ensuring patients’ needs are met effectively and compassionately through timely admissions and frequent visits by the care team.
