On Saturday, both Xfinity and Cup teams will be racing at Texas Motor Speedway. The Xfinity teams will start the day with an afternoon race, while the Cup teams will kick off their schedule with practice and qualifying sessions to set the lineup for Sunday’s race.

Among the drivers in the lineup, only Cole Custer has a previous win at Texas in the Xfinity series. He won the playoff race during the 2018 season. It’s interesting to note that of the last 21 Xfinity races at Texas, twenty have been won by a driver currently competing full-time in the Cup series.

The NASCAR Cup Series Cook Out 400 is set to take place on Sunday, where William Byron could join an esteemed list of champions if he secures the title. Other notable drivers to watch include Parker Kligerman, Austin Hill, and Justin Allgaier.

Saturday also marks the second race of the Dash 4 Cash program, where Sam Mayer, Sheldon Creed, Allgaier, and Chandler Smith are competing for a $100,000 bonus.

The weather forecast for Saturday at Texas Motor Speedway predicts partly cloudy skies with gusts of wind up to 20 mph. The temperature is expected to reach a high of 73 degrees with no chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity race.

The schedule for Saturday, April 13th includes garage open for teams, Cup practice and qualifying sessions followed by an afternoon Xfinity race covering 200 laps over 300 miles. Fans can catch all the action on FS1, Performance Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
