Doha Hamad International Airport has been named the best airport in the world for the third time, with Singapore Changi being edged out of the top spot. Seoul Incheon came in third place and won the title of 2024’s most family-friendly airport. Tokyo Haneda and Narita airports claimed fourth and fifth places, respectively.

Hong Kong airport made a significant jump, rising 22 positions to 11th place as passenger numbers increased following the Covid-19 pandemic. European airports continued to perform well, with Paris Charles de Gaulle, Munich, Zurich, and Istanbul maintaining their positions in the top 10.

New York’s JFK fell to 93rd place while LaGuardia rose to 33rd. Melbourne remained the top-ranked Australian airport at 19th place while London Heathrow moved up one spot to 21st and Gatwick climbed seven spots to 48th. Japan’s Okinawa made the most significant leap in rankings, going from 199th to 91st position.
