Fortuitously, the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2024 recently named Doha Hamad Airport as the best airport in the world, surpassing last year’s winner Singapore Changi. This marks the third time that Doha Hamad Airport has been voted the best by passengers.

The top 20 airports for 2024 include eight European hubs, with Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport ranking sixth and Munich, Zurich, and Istanbul airports also making the top ten. Asia also performed well, with seven airports in the top 20, including four in Japan. Tokyo Haneda and Tokyo Narita are both in the top five, with Centrair Nagoya and Kansai airport also making the list.
