The 2024 Arizona Sports Hall of Fame will feature a diverse group of inductees, including former men’s basketball All-Americans Andre Iguodala and Jason Terry, as well as five other athletes. The ceremony honoring the class will take place on August 30. Along with Iguodala and Terry, the class includes softball player Kenzie Fowler, baseball player Bob Ralston, and track and field athletes Lawi Lalang, Julie LaBonte, and Nick Ross.

Together, the inductees have achieved an impressive record of accomplishments, including 12 NCAA national championships, double-digit All-Conference selections, and over 20 All-America honors. Among the inducted athletes is Dr. Donald Porter, who served as Arizona’s head team physician from 1989-2022.

Iguodala, a former AP All-American and NBA veteran with a successful 19-year career that included four championships with the Golden State Warriors. Terry was a key member of Arizona’s 1997 national championship team and had his jersey retired by the university after spending 19 seasons in the NBA. Fowler was a standout softball player who earned multiple All-American and All-Pac-10 selections during her time at Arizona. Ralston was a First Team All-American and two-time team batting champion as a baseball player for the Wildcats. Lalang won eight NCAA national championships during his time at Arizona as long distance runner while LaBonte was multiple time NCAA All American discus thrower who also won conference titles. Ross set program records in high jumping while competing for Arizona’s track team; he remains an all time best at his event with nine all American accolades to his name.
