The Virginia Institute of Marine Science at William & Mary is hosting its 22nd annual Marine Science Day this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event offers visitors the chance to explore the world of marine science with interactive exhibits, family-friendly activities, and exclusive tours of VIMS research facilities at its Gloucester Point campus.

This free event is open to all ages and provides attendees with hands-on exhibits led by VIMS researchers, interactive tours of the entire VIMS campus, opportunities to explore marine research vessels and specimen collections, and the popular Marine Life Costume Contest. The contest is open to all ages and offers multiple prize categories for the best marine plant or animal costumes.
