Dignity Health has rejoined the in-network provider for Arizona Blue Cross Blue Shield (AZBCBS) members in Maricopa and Pinal counties. The two sides reached a new contract agreement on Wednesday, with Dignity Health confirming their return to AZBCBS’s network as of Friday. Although the details of the agreement have not been disclosed, both parties expressed gratitude for the resolution.

For six weeks, most BCBSAZ members were unable to use Dignity Health as an in-network provider due to a failure to reach a new contract agreement on February 1st after months of negotiations. The affected plans included HMO, PPO, FARE, worker’s compensation, and Medicare supplemental (senior preferred only).
