The Department of Homeland Security recently conducted a raid on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Los Angeles and Miami homes as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation. According to Dyer, Combs’ attorney, the search was a gross overuse of military-level force and resulted in the mistreatment of Combs’ children and employees. However, Dyer clarified that neither Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested or had their travel restricted in any way.

Reports have indicated that the search was connected to recent civil suits filed against Combs by five accusers, including his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura. While Ventura’s suit was settled quickly, four other suits remain unresolved. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed their involvement in the search, emphasizing its connection to an ongoing investigation but providing limited details.

No charges have been filed in relation to the search yet. Dyer released a statement condemning the search as an unprecedented ambush and criticizing the media presence that surrounded it, calling it a premature rush to judgment. He reiterated Combs’ innocence, stating that there has been no finding of criminal or civil liability in relation to the allegations and that Combs will continue to fight to clear his name.
