Unrivaled Sports, a leading player in the youth sports industry, has recently acquired Diamond Nation, a baseball and softball facility located in Flemington, N.J. This acquisition adds to their growing portfolio of sports properties, which already includes Ripken Baseball, Cooperstown All Star Village, and We Are Camp.

Founded in 2009 by Jack Cust Sr., who comes from a family deeply connected to baseball – his son had a 10-year Major League Baseball career – Diamond Nation is known for hosting 3,000 teams and 45,000 participants each year at tournaments on seven fields as well as providing an indoor training facility. Despite the acquisition, the Cust family will remain involved in the operation of Diamond Nation.

This large acquisition adds to Unrivaled’s growing portfolio of sports properties. Jack Cust Sr. mentioned that the additional resources and national reach provided by becoming a part of Unrivaled will benefit their players and families. This purchase was part of the recent formation of Unrivaled, which also included an investment from The Chernin Group and the appointment of Andy Campion, a former Nike COO and Disney executive, as the firm’s CEO.
