DeKalb County Police are currently investigating a fatal shooting that took place near a sports bar in Lithonia early Saturday morning. The incident occurred around 3:45 a.m. at DaBomb Sports Grill located off Evans Mill Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 34-year-old victim in a nearby parking lot who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

A suspect, identified as 38-year-old Henry Anderson, was arrested in connection to the crime and taken to DeKalb County Jail. He is facing charges of malice murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, as well as an outstanding warrant from Gwinnett County for escaping from law enforcement.

According to the sports bar owner, the shooting occurred in an area with trees in front of the business, which is situated behind a Citgo gas station. The owner stated that two men had come to DaBomb Sports Grill to use the restroom after being turned away from another nearby restaurant. The security guard at the sports bar required them to pay for entry. The men left to use the bathroom behind the gas station, where one of them was reportedly shot by an individual who appeared to be homeless. The owner mentioned that the incident was captured on surveillance cameras.
