DCS Corp. has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Navy to provide engineering, programmatic, and technical support services related to naval visible, electro-optic/infrared advanced intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems and technology. Under the contract, DCS Corp. will conduct research and development in the wavelength region between near-ultraviolet and far-infrared to enhance the capabilities of the Department of Defense in this critical area.

The work will be performed at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C., with an expected completion date of April 2025. The base value of the contract is $9.7 million, with a cumulative value of $49.8 million if all options are exercised.
