The fifth annual developer conference .debug was held in Zagreb, Croatia, bringing together 2,000 domestic and international participants to discuss current trends in programming and the overall ICT profession. With the largest number of participants and exhibits at the accompanying exhibition/fair of products and services of ICT companies, along with 100 lectures on six stages in two days (June 6 and 7), .debug is the largest annual professional conference in Croatia.

Organized by the IT magazine Bug with main partners Algebra and HT, the conference featured 50 of the best Croatian IT companies/employers, most of which were also exhibitors. Some of the participating companies include Span, Infinum, Sofascore, Q, Orqa, Devot, Aircash, and others. Representatives from three globally known technology companies of the region – Izabel Jelini from Croatian Infobip, Branko Milutinović from Serbian Nordeus, and Igor Krezić from Mostar’s NSoft were present.

During the opening of .debug, conference director Dragan Petric highlighted the importance of exchanging experiences, knowledge, and contacts in the ICT community. The conference serves as an opportunity for new collaborations and employment opportunities for programmers who are in high demand today. Co-founder Algebra board member Hrvoje Balen emphasized the importance of bringing together the ICT community for education and professional development and announced a conference on leadership and innovation on June 12 in cooperation with American faculty MTI.
