On Friday, March 29, BMI and White Bear PR presented a panel at WonderCon 2024 called The Musical World of Avatar: The Last Airbender. The panel featured composers Jeremy Zuckerman and Takeshi Furukawa, who shared their insights on their work on the beloved animated series.

Zuckerman, who won an Emmy for his work on the show, and Furukawa, who was nominated for a BAFTA for his work on the live-action series, delved into the creative process behind the iconic music of the show. They discussed similarities, differences, nuances and themes that influenced their compositions for Avatar.
