Como, after being promoted to Serie A, are actively seeking to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season. One of their top targets is Cagliari defender Alberto Dossena, for whom they have made an approach. Dossena has an asking price of €7-8m and Como are determined to secure his services. Bologna is also interested in Dossena, but it seems that Como is in a pole position to sign him.
Apart from Dossena, Como has also agreed terms with Al-Kahrbaa winger Ali Jasim. The 20-year-old Iran-born winger has already earned 13 senior caps for Iraq, scoring two goals. Jasim spent the previous season on loan with Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya and is seen as a promising talent for Como.
