Coach Kuko from Refugio Juarez has been recognized as the Arizona Sports Coach of the Month for April, thanks to his outstanding work coaching the soccer players at La Academia FC in Mesa. Under his guidance, the team has achieved great success in recent seasons and continues to excel both on and off the field.

Coach Kuko, known affectionately as “Coach Kuko” by his players, has shown a strong dedication and passion for his role as a coach. He is always there to support and guide his players, even when he is working a landscaping job during the day. Despite facing tough competition in tournaments like the Arizona Soccer Club Heritage Cup and East Valley Spring Invitational, Coach Kuko ensures that every player receives regular playing time and emphasizes the importance of teamwork and personal growth.

One parent spoke about her daughter’s experience with Coach Kuko, noting that her skills and confidence have improved significantly since joining the team.
