On May 6th, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Purchasing Department will host the inaugural City of Jackson Vendor Expo at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. This free event provides an excellent platform for vendors to directly interact with representatives from various city departments.

“Anybody and everybody is invited to this thing,” said Zach Polk, Purchasing Director for Jackson. “It’s free. You can come in, talk, meet people, you may learn some new things about the city.” Attendees will have the chance to connect with city departments and learn more about business opportunities in Jackson through this organic approach of face-to-face meeting with people who are doing business in the city.
