On Saturday, a car registered to Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice was involved in a multi-car collision in Dallas, Texas. Initial reports suggested that the vehicle was racing another car, and the occupants of Rice’s car reportedly left the scene. However, Rice has since hired legal representation and no serious injuries were reported in the incident.

Chiefs president Mark Donovan addressed the situation in an interview with KCMO on Monday morning. He expressed relief that no serious injuries were reported and emphasized the need to gather all relevant information before taking any action. While initial reports indicated injuries, the extent of the harm caused remains unclear. Donovan noted that any potential discipline for Rice would be at the discretion of the league, pending further investigation and clarification of the facts. The priority, he emphasized, should be on ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals involved.
