Last week, Cameron spoke to European foreign ministers about the aid package and encouraged them to reach out to Johnson and push for its passing. He believes that if the $60 billion flows from the U.S. to Ukraine, it could change the narrative about the situation in Ukraine.
Cameron has been an advocate for this cause for some time now. In December, he visited Washington D.C. to encourage Congress to pass an aid package for Ukraine. In February, he wrote an op-ed urging the West to learn from history and not repeat the mistakes made in the 1930s.
However, not everyone is supportive of Cameron’s efforts. Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized him, saying he should focus on his own country and dismissively telling him to “kiss my ass.” Despite this opposition, Cameron remains determined to push for military support and aid for Ukraine through his diplomatic efforts in Europe and beyond.
