On Monday, the Denver Broncos made an addition to their offensive line by signing guard Calvin Throckmorton to a one-year contract. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed at this time. Throckmorton will be reuniting with a couple of familiar faces in Denver as he previously played with center Alex Forsyth at Oregon during college and under Broncos head coach Sean Payton while with the Saints in 2020 and 2021.

During his time with the Saints, Throckmorton played 31 games and started 20 times. He then moved on to the Carolina Panthers as a waiver claim last August, where he started seven games before being released. Throckmorton finished out the season with the Titans before signing with the Broncos. His experience and familiarity with his new teammates and coaches should help him fit in seamlessly with the team.
