This event, organized by the Office of Inclusive Excellence, is open to college and community members alike.

During this forum, experts will explore the importance of taking a holistic approach to mental wellness. The aim is to break down the stigma surrounding mental health issues and encourage open conversations about them. Topics to be covered include the impact of mental health on academic performance for students and effective stress management strategies for workplaces.

The panelists for this event include Sarah Sabin, Chief Clinical Officer at Family Service & Children’s Aid/The Oasis Center, Julie Bloomfield, Health Coach Educator at Henry Ford Health Jackson, Christopher A. Simpson, Board Trustee at Jackson College and Jackson County Undersheriff, and Zariyah Bowser, a Psychology Student.

Following the discussion will be a Q&A session where you can ask your burning questions. And as an added bonus, box lunches will be provided!
