Ignite the Spirit-Milwaukee has partnered with the Milwaukee Fire Department to offer fully funded therapy sessions for first responders. Firefighters face significant stress daily, and this program is aimed at addressing mental health challenges such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety that are common in the profession. The initiative recognizes the demanding nature of the job and seeks to support firefighters in coping with these issues.

Milwaukee Fire Chief Aaron Lipski expressed optimism about the impact of the program. He hopes that through therapy sessions, firefighters will learn how to manage their stress and improve their overall well-being. Chief Lipski believes that this program will not only benefit the firefighters but also improve the quality of service provided to the community.

The therapy sessions will be conducted by licensed therapists and will be fully funded by Ignite the Spirit-Milwaukee. The program aims to help firefighters learn coping strategies, improve their mental health, and ultimately enhance their quality of life.
