Bradley Gompers, a linebacker hailing from Pennsylvania, has announced his top seven schools in recruitment, with Rutgers football making the cut. Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 200 pounds, Gompers received an offer from Rutgers in late February, which was his fifth Power Five offer. Currently attending Central Catholic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Gompers ended last fall on a high note with an impressive performance in the WPIAL Championship. He recorded 16 total tackles and a fumble recovery, helping Central Catholic finish the season with a 10-2 record.

Gompers’ final seven schools in consideration are Duke, Maryland, Michigan State, Northwestern, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, and West Virginia. Although he faced numerous injuries throughout the season, Gompers’ determination to excel on the field did not falter. His impressive performance during his unofficial visit to Rutgers in mid-April showcased his interest in the program’s offerings. Rutgers football currently boasts eight committed recruits for the 2025 class, including four-star linebacker Talibi Kaba.
